Respite Care
In a desire to make things easier for parents and to allow them and the children being treated by us a break from the daily routine, Beit Noam offers respite services for daily participants. In respite care, the participants stay on-site in rooms specially adapted for an overnight or long-term stay. Every unit like this in the daycare center includes a bedroom, shower and all the necessary equipment, including adapted beds, ceiling hoists, etc. Staff members fully support the participants, who enjoy a range of recreational activities: trips, restaurants, picnics, shows and more, together with their friends and in a familiar environment.
We offer various respite care options:
Weekend respite care that takes place every weekend and serves 10 participants.
Mid-week respite care that serves any participant and their family who need overnight care for different reasons (e.g., sick parents, a vacation, family event etc.).
Summer respite care that runs for two consecutive weeks during August and serves 15 participants.
Beyond the direct help that the daily users and their families receive during the year at varying times, respite care also allows participants to sleep outside of the house. This opportunity prepares all those involved for the future transition into independent living frameworks.
