The Institute for Disability Studies

The institute will contribute to research, training and the dissemination of knowledge in three fields:
Developmental disabilities, disability studies, and universal design.
The institute’s research and training activities began in the daycare center in Kiryat Ono. Research efforts will increase following the move to the Neighborhood of Unlimited Possibilities.
The research undertaken will cover different areas and analysis that will stem from the critical social thinking being conducted in disability studies and from the needs on the ground in Israel.
